Do you want to work with close care in patients' home environments? We are now looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our team on Bror Nilsson's street!

Our office is located at Bror Nilsson's street 5 in Lindholmen with good transportation options; you can take a boat, bus, or bike to work.

We are currently working based on a basic schedule where you primarily work during the day with some evening shifts and one weekend every five weeks.

In the role of a nurse, you are responsible for setting goals, planning, leading, and following up on care in consultation with the patient and staff. The interventions are performed as home visits, through guidance, or delegation to nursing staff. You will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and with other stakeholders, both internally and externally. In your role, you will have close cooperation with colleagues in the home care rehabilitation unit as well as health centers in the city. Your assignment also includes identifying and preventing risks in care and mapping the patient's needs for health and medical care interventions. With us, the patient is always our top priority, and our team always works to deliver very good and close care. You will work independently, but at the same time, there is a well-functioning collaboration and proximity to colleagues in your area. Together, you drive and develop a competent operation where high care quality and person-centered care are in focus.

To gain the competence needed to work in municipal health and medical care, the City of Gothenburg offers an introductory program for you as a newly hired employee. The introductory program is individualized and lasts for about a year. The program is designed in dialogue between you as a newly hired employee and your unit manager.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, and it is advantageous to have specialist training as a district nurse or other relevant further education. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience in nursing, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate. The position requires you to have a B driver's license, as you will drive between your patient visits.

The work requires you to independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks. You have the ability to work together with others and create good relationships. We are looking for someone who is open and accommodating in their relationship with others by showing respect, consideration, and care. We value that you bring new ideas and perspectives to work-related issues to improve the operation.
